About Us
Erin E. Gould, Principal Attorney
Erin was born and raised in Coos Bay, Oregon. She grew up in and around the law: watching her father, an attorney, in the courtroom and working summers in the firm’s file room and law library. Today, Erin is a sought-after attorney in Oregon for unique complex civil litigation, employment law, and general counsel services for businesses, public entities, and individuals. Erin brings a smart, effective, and personalized approach to complex legal issues.
Before attending law school at the University of Oregon School of Law, Erin earned a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Women’s Studies at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. While in DC, she worked for a national network of women state legislators. Back in Oregon she worked for members of the Oregon state legislature during three legislative sessions. This public policy background gives Erin a unique grounding in the law: an understanding how statutes are derived, written, and passed, along with an understanding of how laws are interpreted by courts.
During law school, Erin earned the prestigious Wayne Morse Center for Law and Politics Fellowship three years in a row. She served on the managing board for, and was published in, Oregon Law Review, and served as a Legal Research and Writing tutor. She was also awarded the Jackson Lewis scholarship for excellence in employment law.
After law school, Erin worked as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Karsten H. Rasmussen in Lane County Circuit Court. She worked with her father and brother at Gould Law Firm, PC and then for Arnold Gallagher, PC in Eugene. She founded her current law practice in 2015.
Erin serves her community as President-Elect of the Lane County Bar Association Board of Directors and served as Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Center for Community Counseling. She was appointed by the Oregon Supreme Court as a Judge Pro Tempore for Circuit Courts in Oregon. She enjoys hiking, taking ballet classes, traveling, and spending time with her husband, local business owner Gilad Gozlan, daughter Maya, and dog Pete.
